Symptoms of Asthma:
Let us first learn about the symptoms of asthma. The patient of asthma experiences difficulty in breathing, tightness of the chest, a cough lasting for many days along with wheezing sound from the chest, breathless on slightest physical exertion or exposure to allergic agents like dust, pollens, change of weather, etc.
There are several treatments available for asthma. Steroid-based inhalers, bronchodilators, and anti-allergic medicines are some of the treatments for asthma but they come with side-effects and drug dependency. Once a patient starts depending on steroid medicines, it becomes difficult to stop its use as his lungs stop working independently, and he has to depend on the steroid for the dilatation of the air-passages to breathe like a normal person. Using steroids is recommended, as they are life-saving drugs, and hence, they should be used judiciously. But, we should try to support the body to reactivate our lungs and airways by using homeopathic remedies.
Homeopathic Management for Asthma:
Homeopathy plays a vital role in managing asthma and may reduce the dependency on steroids, minimizing the frequency of episodes of breathlessness, coughing, and may assist in increasing the immunity of the patient against allergens. Also, homeopathy does not cause side-effects like steroids, so homeopathy offers a safe natural addition to usual steroid treatment for asthma. Below are a few remedies that can be used to assist with asthma. As always we suggest consulting a Registered Homeopathic Professional before taking any remedies, as a Professional Homeopathy can analyse your unique individual symptoms and provide the very best remedy choice.
